    About Us

    Industrial Air Tools are a Western Sydney based third-generation family company importing, selling and servicing Pneumatic Power Tools for the benefit of Industrial Customers throughout Australia.

    Our geographical sales coverage of the Australian market is achieved by means of over 100 experienced Industrial Distributors who have the support of our experienced sales engineers.

    We work closely with our clients to ensure a seamless relationship in the provision of solutions derived from our extensive stocks of Pneumatic Power Tools and associated equipment.

    All our products are backed by manufacturer’s warranties, full spare parts availability and a fully equipped service workshop if needed.

    Our History

    I.A.T. started in 1976 as a distributor of Air Tools and Air Compressors for Atlas Copco, from whom a considerable amount of quality industry knowledge was gleaned.

    In the early 1980’s we were given the opportunity to import the pneumatic tools of Shinano Inc. of Japan, which were of good quality and offered excellent value for money.

    Shinano tools gained considerable market acceptance through the following decade which resulted in considerable growth for I.A.T.

    In the late 1980’s I.A.T. was able to build up a range of Air Tools from a number of quality manufacturers in Taiwan. This resulted in the establishment of I.A.T.’s “Alliance” house brand in 1989, which, through continuous backing and support, has become a recognised quality brand on the Australian air tool market.
